White and black in interior design

The black and white scale is very important, because it harmoniously blends with all other shades.

White is the sum of all colors, contrasts excellently with bright tones, enlivens and brightens them. Therefore, the white color is ideal as a base color in interior design. In combination with plant or geometric elements, white creates a particularly large amount of optical volume.

Black is "absence of light", creates a reverse effect: it visually reduces and narrows the room space, but enhances the brightness of warm colors - red, yellow, orange. This gloomy color perfectly contrasts with light yellow, pink, beige, light blue, which look more saturated on black.

The disharmonious color combinations (such as red with blue or violet with green) are often bordered on by using a white, black or gray stripes neutralized.
